With the ICC World Cup quarter-finals approaching apace and having Pakistan as one of the teams qualifying for the
same, I believe that the only thing a Pakistani cricket fanatic wants right now
is Pakistan’s
win in this thrilling game of cricket that has always remained a highly popular
sport amongst the masses.
Celebrating the same spirit, Peek Freans Sooper, one of the leading
biscuit brands of Pakistan,
initiated the #SooperHaiCricket contest for the cricket enthusiasts whereby
consumers were required to message different codes on Sooper biscuit packs to 8398 for an interactive session of
question/answers related to the game. Prizes
included cash equivalent of airfares to Australia
for 10 winners while smartphones,
branded cricket gear and kit for another 500 lucky winners. The promotion
started off on February 07 and the results are to be announced soon.
